In the traditional art of ʻŪhau Humu Pōhaku, Hawaiian drystacking, the master mason never leaves a stone unturned in the careful selection of each pōhaku (stone) that will serve a specific purpose in the collective build. Each stone is set with clear intention in order to endure weathering and perform its function. While we are no masters here at Aloha ODB, we do take pride in the amount of intentionality that goes into every aspect of building our brand, and the impact we envision it to have. At the base of our paepae (platform) our pōhaku niho (foundational stones) will always be a deep aloha for our home and everything that makes Hawaiʻi special, ʻāina (land), ʻohana (family), moʻomēheu (culture), and the spirit that connects us all.
